Not Included But Needed
Domain name: You need a domain name to get started. If you already have one – that’s fine, we will contact you with the details of how to connect your domain name to your new site. If you don’t have one yet, you will need to add that cost to your budget.
Ongoing Costs
You will be charged an ongoing monthly hosting fee of $14 to cover the cost of hosting your site and your email. This provides up to 10 GB of monthly bandwidth and 5GB of disk space which is plenty for most medium businesses. This charge needs to be paid via automatic Credit Card. This makes it easier for us and for you. If, for some reason you can’t pay that way, we can negotiate an alternative. Hosting fees will start 1 month after your initial purchase of this package.
No Hidden Costs
There’s nothing else that you need to get started. You may want to add extras to your site down the track. Many plugins are free. Some have one-time fees and others subscription-based fees. But there’s very little that you can’t do for free. One thing you ought to consider, once you’re happy with your new site is adding an SSL certificate. This is not free – but well worthwhile.
